The Fusion Series is an on-going series that celebrates how styles from different cultures although seemingly very different, can complement each other to give birth to something new. It was inspired to start this series, while watching The First Monday in May. While watching this documentary, I realized that a lot of fashion fusions tend to include specific cultures (such as China or an African country) meeting western fashion, and I wondered what style would look like if it took a different approach and highlighted the harmony of pieces from different cultures, without necessarily fusing them with western style. And with that thought, this series was born
