The Tale of Abeba

Role: Director, Screenplay Writer, Choreographer, Set Designer, Actress and Costume Designer.

The Tale of Abeba was a broadway show that told the tale of a young Ethopian girl, Abeba, who travels around the continent, Africa, to find true love. I wore several hats while working on this project, including writing the original screenplay, directing the show, recruiting actors and actresses, designing the set, editing the music, and teaching the choreography for the dance scenes. I learnt so much executing this project, and it opened me up to the world of theater.
