Hello, and thank you for stopping by. I’m Priscilla, but everyone calls me Nini.

I am a creative technologist, designer and a bit of a day-dreamer. I currently live in the Netherlands, pursuing an MSc. in Interaction Technology at the University of Twente. My interest and research at the moment, are aimed at developing and improving technologies that help people with understanding themselves, shifting perceptions, and emotion regulation, through applications and experiences that are simple, fun, entertaining and awe-striking. I have been developing projects using Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Augmented Reality.

I’m greatly inspired by film and film-makers - I am also currently working on a film, as part of a class project, that explores the feeling of awe and the loss of it in modern times.

For as long as I know, I’ve always been interested in human experiences, and how they form our perceptions. Through studying a variety of fields from design and technology to fashion, my pursuit has been in search of understanding the human mind and creating experiences that allow individuals harmoniously connect with themselves, with others and with the world around them. I aim to make a statement with my work - that beauty can be found everywhere - and in all spaces

Prior to moving to the Netherlands, I worked as a product manager at Microsoft for four years. While there, I worked on Microsoft Azure to drive the design, implementation and shipping of a variety of cloud services.

During that period, I founded a fashion blog and visual storytelling platform - Nerdly Beautiful, which allows me to express myself creatively, and gives me the opportunity to work as a creative director on a number of projects, with fashion brands and photographers, to create online campaigns with beautiful imagery that individuals could connect to.

In 2018, I left Microsoft and moved from Redmond, WA, to the beautiful city of Paris, to pursue my first MSc in Human Computer Interaction and Design (HCID) at Paris-Sud Université.

I love coding, designing, and telling stories, but I also love dabbling in photography, doing yoga, painting, walks in nature, listening to spoken word, watching Christopher Nolan films, sewing, practicing my French, and spending time with loved ones.

Born and raised in Kano, Nigeria, I am also passionate about causes related to reshaping the African narrative, mental health awareness, gender equality and women empowerment.
